Oreo is a sandwich cake consisting of two (usually chocolate) wafers with sweet cream filling. Launched in 1912, Oreo is the best-selling cake brand in the United States. Starting in 2018, the version sold in the U.S.A. is made by the Nabisco division of Mondelez International.
